PIREN-Seine is a programme which brings together 22 teams of researcher on subjects relating to the quantity and quality of water and the aquatic environment of the Seine basin. All of the physical, geological, chemical and biological aspects of the basin are therefore taken into account, in order to obtain an overall vision of the environments and hence propose measures and scenarios which are compatible with the effective management of water resources.
